Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of MyTemple, operated by De Groodt SRL (“we”, “us”), VAT BE0533715774, Avenue Josephine Charlotte 34, 1330 Rixensart, Belgium. By creating an account or using the app or website at https://mytemple.fit, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

MyTemple is a digital wellness product that helps you log food and training, set goals, and receive AI-assisted coaching suggestions. The service is currently offered free of charge with no in-app purchases. We may change features or introduce paid plans later; we will notify you before charging for features that are free today.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old (or older if required where you live) and able to form a binding contract. The service is not directed at children and is not a medical service.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information. You may delete your account at any time (Profile → Delete account, or see delete-account).

4. Not medical advice

MyTemple provides general wellness guidance only. It is not a medical device, does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, and is not a substitute for professional medical, nutritional or training advice. Nutrition values, calorie targets, nutrition highlights and AI outputs are estimates. Talk to a qualified professional before making significant changes to your diet or exercise, especially if you have a medical condition.

5. AI features

Meal analysis, coaching replies and programme suggestions use third-party AI models. Outputs can be wrong, incomplete or inappropriate for you. You remain responsible for reviewing suggestions before applying them.

6. Acceptable use

• Do not misuse the service, attempt to break security, or abuse AI features
• Do not upload unlawful, harmful or infringing content
• Do not scrape, reverse engineer or overload the service beyond normal use
• Do not use the service for clinical decision-making or emergency care

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

7. Your content

You retain ownership of content you submit (photos, logs, messages). You grant us a licence to host and process that content solely to operate and improve the service as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Third-party services

Optional integrations (e.g. Withings, Apple Health, Google or Apple sign-in) are subject to those providers’ terms. We are not responsible for third-party services.

9. Availability & changes

We aim for reliable availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, except where such disclaimer is not allowed.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, De Groodt SRL is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits or goodwill arising from your use of the service. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the service is limited to €50 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (currently €0 for a free account), whichever is greater — except where liability cannot be limited (including for fraud, wilful misconduct, or death/personal injury caused by negligence where mandatory law applies).

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Belgium. Courts of Belgium have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections that may apply where you live in the EU/EEA.
