Delete your account

Last updated 2026-09-15

You can permanently delete your MyTemple account from inside the app. This page exists so App Review and users can verify the process (Apple Guideline 5.1.1(v)).

In-app steps

  1. Sign in to MyTemple
  2. Open Profile
  3. Scroll to the Account card
  4. Tap Delete account
  5. Type DELETE to confirm

After confirmation we sign you out and remove your account. You will need to create a new account if you return later.

Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store or web subscription. Cancel it separately first (Apple ID → Subscriptions on iPhone, or the billing portal on the web).

What gets erased

  • Your authentication account (email / Apple / Google identity linkage)
  • Profile, goals and onboarding data
  • Food and drink logs, meal photos in our storage
  • Workouts, body metrics, activity days and streaks
  • Coach conversations, memory and recommendations
  • Withings connection tokens (if connected)
  • Synced Apple Health copies stored in MyTemple (when HealthKit sync is used)

Short-lived technical backups and limited admin AI audit traces may linger briefly, then expire. We do not keep your account for marketing after deletion.
